Is MSL Counselling Right for Me?
MSL counselling is a short‑term, solution‑focused service. Most people use it for around 6–10 sessions.
We focus on what is happening for you now, building coping tools and making realistic changes in day‑to‑day life.
MSL counselling is usually a good fit if you:
- Feel stressed, overwhelmed or burnt out
- Struggle with anxiety, worry or low confidence
- Have work‑related difficulties (conflict, bullying, boundaries, leadership stress)
- Are dealing with changes, loss, role changes or difficult relationships
- Want help with communication, saying no, or balancing work and home
- Have mild to moderate low mood, anxiety or self‑esteem issues
What we aim to do together
- Understand what feels most difficult for you right now
- Make sense of thoughts, feelings and patterns that are affecting you
- Build practical coping strategies and healthier boundaries
- Support you to make small, realistic changes in your day‑to‑day life
MSL counselling is not long‑term psychotherapy. If you need very in‑depth, long‑term work, we may help you think about
other options that are a better fit.
If you are in crisis or feel at immediate risk, please contact your GP, NHS 111, your local Crisis Team, emergency services on 999,
or Samaritans on 116 123.
